Summary
New England Craft Cultivators [NECC] is seeking to add an installation to improve customer experience and inspire folks to keep coming back, and bring their friends.
Below are a few concepts and some rough options and price ranges for us to explore. The price ranges are very wide ranges, but gives you some concepts. Once we have a budget and some feedback on these directions we can fine tune a proposal.

Chauvet Lights Option
Pro’s
You own the lighting, so drastically reduced costs
DMX protocol, so easy to wire and program
Cons:
Aged items, so longevity is questionable. Repair costs may exceed replacement
Utilizing scanner effect may be noisy
The lights seem to be CE Certified, and so some electrical/fire inspectors may deny their usage.
What we could do with them?
The Lit, White Flower Concept $5k-$50k
These lights could be mounted above and used as a static, but color-changing, “spot light” on an object that is painted a reflective white so that the object takes on the color.
Depending on scale and budget we could create an isolated, fire-retardant installation with color changing lights, or a full ceiling installation.
This same concept could also me married with the Phillips Hue lighting below.
If we hit white objects with color changing lights we can change their hue in real time.
This could be your antlers, painted white, for example.
You’ll have to imagine this with color changing lights. We can decide weather or not we want to “scan” them and/or just keep the lights static depending on light motor noise.
Phillips Hue Lighting
Lighting System: $5,000 - $25,000+
Commercial grade, colored lighting is going to start at $50k, however, the Phillips Hue Consumer lighting might work if you don’t have a commercial grade budget for this project.
Its a consumer grade lighting system, but very easy to set up, program, and manage. Replacement bulbs range from $60-$180 per piece (depending on indoor/outdoor, or strip lighting. They even have a system that will echo the lighting off of TV monitors to help immersion.
They offer motion sensors as well so we could create a simple reactive area that shifts colors dependent on activity.

Avatar Gardens
Since your space will be well lit with natural light during the day, sectioning off wall areas and create an LED illuminated forest wall with color changing flora might be a good way to go. There are 2 videos outlining an inexpensive iteration and then showing off something
Design, Materials and Installation:
$5,000-$50,000+
Faux Ficus Panels $6 psf
Custom LED Lighting: $1,000+
Kinectic Sculpture OPTION
Cons:
Longevity and maintenance could prove problematic
Cost will be much higher per light/winch
Noise will likely be omnipresent.
Pro’s
Incredible to watch
Wow factor can be condensed into a smaller area
Allows for simpler light programming

2047 APOLOGUE A/V Stage Show by “WHITEvoid”
Kinetic OPTIONS: $15k to $100k+
Cost breakdown below.
Design Phase: $1500
Depending on your budget, we will provide 3 collaborate with you on concepts that will work within your space.
Other Materials: $2000+
Mimicking the “flower bloom” effect, including materials would probably add $200 per light.
Scaffolding and Hardware to safely hold the installation will probably run $1k+ depending on the scale.
Installation $2,400-$5,600
We’d probably construct this on site. Looking at 3-7 days of work, depending on scale, with 2 techs. This presumes proper power and networking will be run by your installers.
Ladders and/or a scissor lift will be included in the above cost.
Light Programming $1,400-$5,600
A simple, repeating light pattern that can be turned on and off, that uses basic hardware would only take about 1 day of programming. A more complex and/or interactive light installation with scheduling would take up to a week of programming.
Winch and Lighting: $7,500-$50,000+
Depending on the scale of the installation, I estimate we could do something impressive for as little as $7500 in materials. This presumes you use either very few higher end materials, or are willing to roll the dice on some imports (which I’m not recommending.)
High End DMX Winch Hardware
Higher end gear will be more reliable, will last longer, and will come with warranties and support.
DMX Winches run aprox. $2200 per piece from Kinetic Lights in Germany
Software and Hardware to run the lights are probably another $5k-ish
Lower End DMX Winch Hardware
Chinese import options exist, but you may run into problems with electrical inspections. Here is an import option at $380 per piece (not including freight.)
Lights and structures holding the lights will start at $100 per unit but could easily jump to $300+ per light fixture
